The office at the Pilgrim House Hostel. This was our first hostel, so as we drove up we said to eachother, "Okay, if this seems weird, do the code signal and we'll leave." When we got there though we saw that it was really nice and the staff was so friendly. Our RA on duty was even going to the Flaming Lips concert.
Beale Street at night. We met a really nice old man in the Memphis Blues Record Store who was happy to educate us on all the blues essentials. Apparently, Koko Taylor is good.
Resting at the Pilgrim House after completing our chores, sweeping the kitchen and mopping the bathroom. Of course, we had to get our ten dollar deposit back.
